As many of you may know, some consulting committees have required two and a half year ago the international standards organisation (ISO) to put in place a special consultative committee to review, reevaluate and update the present ISO-4043-1998 standards for mobile simultaneous interpretation, making them more suitable and available to new technologies, as well as enhancing ergonomic and improving all the clause relative to sound acoustic attenuation that ensures a better performance and environment for interpreters.
