We know that the new standards will considerably improve many old clauses of ISO-4043-1998, primarily under the clauses of sound absorption, components weight, ventilation and lighting. Many of the revised clauses are mostly cosmetic and ergonomic improvements. These changes will benefit the interpreters by giving them a much better place to work. Other clauses have also been added for the protection of the user such as fire safety measures and control of hazarded emissions.
